“I had an automobile accident in 2003 and had to have a double cervical fusion. I asked Elizabeth if she might perhaps be able to help me maintain the range of motion and mobility of my neck after surgery. (So many people I know who have had neck fusions have lost much of their flexibility and range of motion.) Elizabeth felt she could help, got permission from my surgeon, and we gave it a try.
“What can I say?! Even my neurosurgeon cannot believe the results. In fact, it is supposed to be impossible for a cervical double fusion to allow for the range of motion I have – which by the way is complete!
“There was no need for me to move my neck while she worked (The surgeon would not have allowed movement after surgery anyway). There was no pain. Ortho-Bionomy is painless. As Elizabeth would say, if it hurts, we needs to change what we are doing. In any event, I have continued to use Elizabeth on a regular basis since that time. My profession keeps me tied to my desk for hours at a time. Even though I have everything ergonomically situated, there is still a price to be paid in my muscles and joints for what I do. I go to Elizabeth for, as I call it, preventive maintenance. Many times I can even feel my body compensate and ease tensions or pains on its own. There are any number of modalities that people use to reduce pain, muscle tension, etc, but for me, Elizabeth and Ortho-Bionomy are THE answer.
“I cannot recommend her too highly. Her knowledge of the field is truly impressive and extensive, and she has the ability to use that great depth of knowledge to find the technique necessary to help whatever I need, at any given time. She also seems to have fingers that can sense where the problems are without my saying anything. As a research scientist, that is a difficult thing for me to say, but I do indeed feel it is true.
Thank you, Elizabeth, for all the pain-free days, weeks, months, and years you have provided for me!” – MaryLynn Zurich
“When I first arrived at Elizabeth’s office, I knew nothing about Ortho-Bionomy or cranial-sacral therapy. She was very honest about the first experience of this practice describing it as “ordering vanilla ice cream and getting chocolate”, meaning that it is nothing like what I might expect after experiencing body work, like a massage, for example.
I worked with Elizabeth for a year after a car accident and she helped to heal me and teach me how to heal myself. It was truly an enlightening experience to work with someone with such integrity, insight and kindness. I recommend her to all that I encounter who have the need for realignment, guidance and balance.” – Elsa Bigelow 2008
“Elizabeth is an excellent health-care professional with a wide range of knowledge in multiple fields, including Ortho-Bionomy who listens to her clients, and tailors the therapy sessions accordingly. She is patient, caring and very good at producing excellent outcomes. Her work has kept me active and mobile.” – John Haswell
“I have received Cranial sacral therapy and Ortho-Bionomy for years. I benefited from Elizabeth’s dedication to her craft. She continuously seeks additional training and I have personally benefited from that training. I have come to depend upon Elizabeth’s sessions as a way to keep myself sane with the crazy schedule I keep.” – R.Steiner
